UK Wood Floors specialises in the supply of solid and engineered wood flooring to both residential and commercial properties. With over 40 years of manufacturing and installation experience to call on from Managing Director Gary Jamieson and our long-serving carpenters and technicians, you know you’re in safe hands.
Our flooring is 100% milled and finished in-house at our Farnborough facility, giving us complete quality control and ensuring every floor meets rigorous technical standards for both domestic and commercial projects.
In-House Craftsmanship & Nationwide Supply
We work closely with our customers to ensure a smooth installation process and unrivalled quality of floor laying, sanding and finishing. We mill our own flooring in-house and ensure quality and value for money at every stage, from production and supply through to fitting and finishing. All of our fitters and technicians are employed and trained in-house.
Having initially established ourselves locally with a domestic supply and fitting service, we’ve grown into a nationwide supplier of wood flooring and related materials. Today, we support customers across the UK with targeted advice, technical guidance and post-installation backup, and we regularly visit our partner mills and attend exhibitions such as the Homebuilding & Renovating Show and Grand Designs Live to maintain the highest standards of production.

Our industrial parquet wood flooring has recently been specified for high-profile projects, including the Sainsbury’s Laboratory in Cambridge and the Belron International building in Egham.
We also work extensively with the self-build market, particularly on projects using underfloor heating, where engineered parquet is an ideal solution. A notable example is a Surrey barn conversion that featured on TV’s Grand Designs and was later revisited, helping to establish UK Wood Floors as a trusted specialist for bespoke residential and self-build projects.
In recent years, we’ve invested heavily in our own specialist machinery to manufacture more of our wood flooring in-house and reduce our reliance on external suppliers. This allows us to produce a full range of mouldings, including skirtings, architraves, door linings and other profiles – and to offer a bespoke finishing service on our in-house finishing line, built to our own specifications for consistent quality and faster lead times.
