What is difference between WPC & SPC?
WPC is a wood plastic composite core structure, also known as ‘waterproof core’. It’s a relatively new concept in the UK but, in America, it’s one of the fastest growing surface sectors.
SPC is a very much similar to WPC, but SPC is more rigid as it contains stone in its construction so isnt as flexible as the WPC.
The have a robust construction, and features a commercial-grade wear resistant layer, a highly stable and 100% waterproof core – with glue-less locking system – and a premium underlay base. It provides a flooring option that’s fast to install, can be laid over most existing hard floor coverings and is suitable with underfloor heating systems. Boards lock together to create a highly durable and dimensionally stable surface that also offers acoustic impact sound performance up to 24db.
